Tampa Museum of Art
The Tampa Museum of Art has moved to an interim location at 2306 North Howard Avenue in Tampa, while construction of the new museum facility in downtown Tampa gets underway.
The interim museum will open its doors to the general public on March 7 with new exhibitions and educational programs. Select programs and events will be scheduled during January and February.
The new Tampa Museum of Art will consist of 66,000 square feet and is designed by San Francisco, CA, architect Stanley Saitowitz. Groundbreaking on this new facility is expected to begin early this year, with the opening of the new museum anticipated by the fall of 2009.
